One of the biggest traps I feel we all can fall into these days….especially with social media is what I call The Highlight Reel effect.
Too many people get caught up in looking at the lives of everyone from friends to celebrities on Facebook, Instagram, snapchat etc….and drawing comparisons.
It’s important to understand that the only person worth comparing yourself to is you and that it’s great to look up to others and have inspirations but at the end of the day you can only become the best version of yourself, and falling into this Highlight Reel Effect is unproductive.
Identify your goals….know what you’re working towards and go hard but, just be aware of how hard you are on yourself and take the time for some “self love”.
